Recipes
Saved scripts you run on one or many servers, sandboxed and audited.
Recipes (in the main menu) are saved shell scripts your team runs on servers: installing a tool, clearing a cache, rotating a log, collecting information.
Create a recipe
New recipe with a Name, a Description, the Default user it runs as, a Timeout (seconds) and the Script. Scripts are stored encrypted.
Run it
Open the recipe, choose the servers under Run on and the user under Run as user, then Run on N server(s).
- As a normal user, the script runs in a sandbox (no new privileges, private
/tmp, a read-only system) with the timeout you set. - As root or a sudo user, each server asks for your passkey approval before the script runs.
Recent runs shows each server's result and output. Every run is written to the audit log.
