Deploy
Deploy from GitHub
Push to deploy with health checks and instant rollback.
Connect GitHub
Under Settings → GitHub, install the Zefily GitHub App on your account or organization and choose the repositories it may read.
Set up a site
Open the site, go to Deploy, pick the repository and branch, and set the build and release steps (for example composer install --no-dev and php artisan migrate --force). Turn on push to deploy to release on every push to the branch.
How a release goes live
- The code is fetched into a new release directory.
- Build steps run as the site user.
- Shared files and directories (such as
.envandstorage) are linked in. - The site switches to the new release, and a health check confirms it answers.
- If the health check fails, the site switches back automatically.
Older releases are kept, so rolling back is instant: pick a release and roll back.
Environment variables
Secrets are encrypted at rest and sent to the server sealed for that server only. They are never shown in logs.
